Lady V London “Eva” Review

We exclusively announced the launch of the new Lady V London “Eva” dress and it has featured as our Outfit of the Week so it seemed only right that we put it to the test and prove it’s breastfeeding friendly credentials!

So straight to the business end, the Eva dress has an elegant and well proportioned cross over v-neckline. Combined with the stretchy fabric and the dress easily allows access to both boobs for breastfeeding. Either on each side or tandem feeding too, perfect!

The shape and style of the dress is extremely flattering and has a definite cool vintage feel!   The top has neat little cap sleeves, perfectly placed shoulder pleats and the beautifully shaped neckline.  The plunging neckline looks lovely and would easily allow for boobs of different sizes due to the nice fabric overlap.

The shape of the bodice and band around the waist help give a fabulous silhouette.  The skirt pleats start just above the hip which is another carefully thought out design detail, and fall to a flattering length just below the knee (I am 5ft 5, there used to be a half inch too until I had children!).  The length would definitely still look great on those shorter or taller than me, and it is great for chasing and bending over after little ones.   The skirt has a classy flared shape that finishes off the vintage feel of the dress perfectly.

The fabric of the dress feels great on, it has a lovely stretch and hangs so well.  It just seems to fit to all the right places to look and feel great wearing it!  This dress is the “Cream Floral” which on the website looks more like a blush colour but is most definitely cream.   I normally choose big bright prints and bold colours so this is a more delicate floral print to me and I love it, however this print has sold out in less than a week!!  However good news… there are more gorgeous floral prints in the “Eva” style from bold blue to pretty pink, which are all listed below.  If you love this dress make sure you don’t miss out before the other prints sell out too!

This dress is available in sizes 8-22, I would say sizing wise it is true to size and no need to size up.  The length, due to it being a vintage style, would look great on different height mums and it would also be suitable for different boob sizes too!

As soon as I tried the dress on I seriously wanted to waltz out the door to a glorious summer wedding or christening!  I can’t recommend this dress enough for being practical for breastfeeding and glamorous for occasions you may have on the horizon.  This dress makes me feel, can I say pretty?  “Eva” is absolute proof that as a breastfeeding mum you can wear glamorous, well styled and flattering clothes.
