Geometric Floral Belted A-Line Shirt Dress
This shirt dress from the Closet London Bloom collection is a very distinct style. Both the print and the shape of the dress are individual, I do like something a bit different that stands out and this dress does that!
This may be a shirt dress however it isn’t buttoned the full length, the fabric buttons are to the waist and this is easily enough buttons for very comfortable and easy nursing.
The dress length is a lovely flattering midi length (for my 5ft 5 height) that looks both gorgeously smart and is also super practical for looking after little ones. The skirt has a quirky central pleat detail that with the A line shape gives a gorgeous flowing shape to the dress. The skirt has a lovely floaty feel due to the design and the quality fabric of the dress.
There is a neat wide fabric belt for accentuating the waist and also the holy grail – pockets!
The sleeves are 3/4 length, slightly flared and have a lovely slit so they look super stylish whilst being comfortable and easy to move in. The dress has a lush gold zip up the back of the dress that blends perfectly with the colours of the print. There is also a neat little collar that finishes the neckline perfectly, I do like the look of a neat and high little buttoned collar.
The geometric floral print and colours of this dress offer something different with shades of purple, mustard and cream. Accessorise the dress with neutral tones, purples and even dark boots for cold days.
The dress is true to size, it is a lovely and flattering fit. The quality is excellent, the lovely weight of the fabric and style of the dress make it hang extremely nicely. This dress could easily be worn for lunchdates, shopping and occasions and does feel fabulous to wear, it makes you feel like you are standing a few inches taller with confidence.
This Closet London Dress does makes you feel fantastically chic and somewhat special. It is perfect for breastfeeding and proves that Closet London are leading the way in identifying breastfeeding friendly styles in their latest trends, so that we can nurse our little ones and be extremely stylish.
Duck Egg Kimono Wrap Pencil Dress
I feel very elegant in this kimono wrap dress from Closet London. It comes in a lovely soft “duck egg” shade, although in real life I feel it’s more of a sea foam green colour. It’s very pretty regardless! I feel like I am channeling a 40’s vibe and I would definitely dress it up for an evening out. If you have quite a formal workplace it would definitely suit as a day dress as well!
The dress has a kimono wrap style neckline which is a cinch to feed in. There is plenty of extra material, I could actually fold both sides back to feed tandem if I needed to.
I tried this dress in my usual size. It was a little snug on my mum tum and bum, so I’d probably size up if you’re a curvy lady. There is lots of room in the top and the cut is quite drapey, so it would definitely suit a range of boob sizes. I think the batwing style arms are very flattering and I love how it nips in at the waist to create a lovely hourglass shape. I’m 5”6 and the length came to just below my knee, a good length for chasing after little ones! The material is a nice medium thickness and feels an excellent quality. This is a really classy dress that is just perfect for breastfeeding.
